Xiamen University (XMU), established in 1921 by renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee, is the first university founded by an overseas Chinese in the history of modern Chinese education. XMU has long been listed among China’s leading universities on the national 211 Project, 985 Project and Double First-Class Initiative, which have been launched by the Chinese government to support selected universities in achieving world-class standing.

厦门大学财务管理与会计研究院是国家“985工程”全国唯一的财务与会计创新基地。厦门大学工商管理学科历史悠久，早在厦门大学创建之初就成立了商学部。厦门大学工商管理学科在2007年被教育部评为全国首批五个“工商管理一级学科国家重点学科”之一，2017年教育部第四轮学科评估中获评A类学科，2019年评为ESI全球前1%学科，2025年软科中国大学专业排名会计学专业位列全国第三、财务管理学专业位列全国第四。通过英国工商管理硕士协会(Association of MBAs，简称AMBA)、欧洲管理发展基金会质量提升认证体系（EFMD Quality Improvement System，简称EQUIS）和国际商学院协会（The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International，简称AACSB）三大国际权威商学认证，全球仅有1%的商学院拥有此殊荣。

The Institute for Financial & Accounting Studies (IFAS) at XMU is the only “985 Project” platform in accounting and finance designated by China’s Ministry of Education. The financial & accounting studies are the supporting disciplines of Business Administration of XMU. XMU’s Business Administration is among the top 1 percent globally according to the Essential Sciences Indicators (ESI) rankings in 2019 and ranked 3rd & 4th in China according to the 2025 Chinese Universities Major Ranking  published by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. Along with IFAS, the School of Management at XMU (SMXMU), with EQUIS, AMBA, and EQUIS accreditation, joins the very small circle of the 1% of Business Schools holding the “triple crown” worldwide.

自2005年建院以来，厦门大学财务管理与会计研究院以全球视野广纳贤能，从美国、英国、日本、澳大利亚、比利时、加拿大、法国及中国香港和内地著名高校陆续引进优秀青年学者，已在Journal of Accounting Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance等财务、会计领域国际顶级期刊发表学术论文。

Since its establishment in 2005, the IFAS has recruited its faculty members from the Ph.D. graduates of research universities in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Hong Kong, and China’s Mainland. Members of the faculty have published in the Journal of Accounting Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Management Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, etc.

一、招聘岗位/Job Description

助理教授1-2名：拥有或者即将取得会计学、财务学相关领域的博士学位；具有在国际顶级学术期刊上发表论文的潜力；能独立讲授英文课程；不超过35周岁（1990年1月1日之后出生）。

副教授或正教授1名：拥有会计学、财务学相关领域的博士学位；在国际顶级权威学术期刊上有发表论文的良好记录；能独立讲授英文课程；能带队组建学术研究团队。

Applications are invited for positions at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor. Candidates for assistant professor positions should be under the age of 35 (born after January 1 1990). All accounting and finance-related disciplines will be considered. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, or economics (research focused on accounting or finance), or be very close to completion. Selection will be based on the potential for publications in reputable accounting, finance, and economics journals.

二、支持措施/Remuneration

薪酬待遇：按照受聘职务享受厦门大学相应薪酬待遇。实行年薪制管理，根据申请人的条件，特别是学科背景、教学经验、发表论文的质量和数量，参照国内一流大学的标准，给予有市场竞争力的薪酬和待遇。

住房：可申请租住校内周转房，提供租房补贴。

省、市人才待遇：符合厦门市或福建省有关规定的人选，可申请购买厦门市人才住房（*销售价格为每批次房源的市场评估价的45％）、厦门市新引进人才生活补贴和福建省新引进人才安家补助。

子女教育：厦门大学教职工子女可申请厦门大学幼儿园和厦门大学附属演武小学分别接受幼儿和小学教育；符合厦门市相关人才条件者（*市B类人才及以上、市高层次留学人员等），子女在义务教育阶段可择校一次。

*注：以省、市实时人才政策为准。

其他：科研启动费，良好的教学科研环境，丰富的图书、期刊和数据库资源，来校差旅补助，国内外学术会议资助等。

1. The candidate is entitled to the corresponding salary according to the position he/she is appointed. Refer to the highest compensation level provided by leading universities in China.

2. Candidates can apply for a starter home on campus and enjoy the corresponding rental subsidies.

3. Candidates can apply to purchase Talent Apartments in Xiamen (*55% off the market price), and can also apply for living allowances offered by Xiamen City and Fujian Province, if they are identified as high-end talents and meet the relevant requirements.

4. Research start-up funding, pleasant teaching and research environment, rich database resources, travel subsidies, academic conference funding, etc.
